Trout Valley

Hidden beyond the hills outside Dullstroom, Trout Valley House overlooks the magnificent Trout Valley Upper Lake. The house features five spacious bedrooms, each positioned to take in views across the valley and water. Inside, guests have an indoor braai area as well as a separate games room complete with a billiard table and dartboard. The property combines the comfort of a generous country home with extraordinary privacy and immediate access to one of the farm’s most impressive stretches of water. Fed by an immense wetland system, the lake benefits from exceptional water quality and a rich natural food chain - creating ideal conditions for healthy trout and an outstanding stillwater fishery.

Davy's

Davy's Lodge is a spacious country retreat overlooking rolling wetlands and a large stillwater directly in front of the house. The lodge features five generous bedrooms, two of which are en suite. Downstairs, guests will find an extensive games room as well as an old-fashioned Finnish-style sauna. But it is the setting that truly defines Davy's Lodge. Wide views stretch across the surrounding veld and wetlands towards the water, creating a secluded base from which to experience the farm and its fishing. The fishery at Davy's has been treated as a passion project, with ongoing scientific management aimed at continually improving the quality of the water and the trout it produces.

Private Trout Waters

With pristine water supplies, carefully managed fisheries and exceptionally low fishing pressure, these waters have produced remarkable trophy rainbow and brown trout weighing well over 10 pounds.

The quality of the fishing is no accident. The fisheries are managed scientifically, with close attention paid to the health of the water, surrounding habitat and food chain. The result is a collection of stillwaters capable of producing exceptional fish season after season.

Fly-fishing guests staying on the farms can also enjoy the attention of a senior, internationally experienced fly-fishing guide, with high-end imported tackle available for their use.
